This year of the Fire Horse brings a gift set following the theme of stories. The Chinese saying, 汗马功劳 (hànmǎ gōngláo) translates to “laborious sweat of the horse resulting in success”. The saying refers to significant achievements earned through diligent effort, often in the face of considerable challenges, and is the inspiration for this year’s mooncakes. The mooncakes and the gift box it comes in (shaped as a book) depict a four-panel story of a horse on its journey to find community and friendship. This year of the Fire Horse, we celebrate all of your success earned through countless moments of perseverance and the stories that led to those achievements. ⁠
