Mooncake Magnet Painting Workshop Feb 22 in SF

Come paint mooncake magnets and sample delicious mooncakes!

Location: Edge on the Square in San Francisco Chinatown (800 Grant Ave)

In 2025 we ran this same workshop at our NYC pop ups. It was requested so much by folks in the Bay Area that we're bringing it to you all! Come celebrate Lunar New Year by joining us for a peaceful Sunday afternoon of painting fun and mooncake sampling at Edge on the Square in SF Chinatown! Participants will paint clay versions of Little Moon Bakehouse's Lotus Paste + Vegan Salted Egg Yolk Mooncake — designed by Brooklyn-based artist Jocelyn Tsaih. These clay mooncakes are also magnets, and who doesn’t love a food item as a magnet?

Attendees will get to nibble on Little Moon Bakehouse’s red bean paste + salted egg yolk mooncake.

Each participant gets one mooncake magnet to paint. All materials will be provided and no experience required - just bring your creativity and imagination.
